This Invitation to Tender (the “ITT”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the Municipality of Meaford (“the Municipality”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for ITT-TS-2025-11, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The Municipality of Meaford (Meaford) is located in Grey County, on the shores of Nottawasaga Bay, a sub-basin of Georgian Bay with a population of approximately 11,000. The Municipality covers 588.57 square kilometres of land area and is located within a beautiful natural environment that offers an abundance of charm with its extensive waterfront, authentic urban area, diverse rural and agricultural landscape and scenic views of the Niagara Escarpment.

Structure BR-046 is located on 13 Sideroad, between Grey Road 12 and 7^th Line, over the Bighead River. The existing structure is a three-span precast girder bridge with an overall structure width of 9.75m and a deck length of 46.0m. The general construction scope of work includes the rehabilitation of the concrete structure, the reconstruction of the expansion joint assemblies, the waterproofing and asphalt paving of the deck top, and the asphalt paving of 880m of 13 Sideroad beyond structure.
