This Invitation to Tender (the “ITT”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the Municipality of Meaford (“the Municipality”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Demolition of Ram Auto Building at 458360 Grey Rd 11, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

The Municipality of Meaford (Meaford) is located in Grey County, on the shores of Nottawasaga Bay, a sub-basin of Georgian Bay with a population of approximately 11,000. The Municipality covers 588.57 square kilometres of land area and is located within a beautiful natural environment that offers an abundance of charm with its extensive waterfront, authentic urban area, diverse rural and agricultural landscape and scenic views of the Niagara Escarpment.

The Contractor shall complete the demolition and clearing of the property, including removal of the abandoned auto shop, debris, brush and miscellaneous materials. The Work shall include disposal of all materials, protection of existing property including the rear well, backfilling and grading of the site, and final cleanup. The property shall be left clean, safe and ready for future use to the satisfaction of the Municipality.
